Merotoro is always a great dining experience. It practically never disappoints with any dish. Regarding service, it's important to mention that the waiters' attitude varies widely; however, Luis provides excellent service and quality, makes recommendations, explains each dish, and knows the menu inside out. It's clear he's passionate about his job.nAs for the location, it's relatively simple, with a sober decor that gives it a nice touch of elegance. However, I must say that the chairs are uncomfortable, especially when you spend a long time in them.nAt the end of the day, some negative points may be tolerable considering the food is spectacular and totally worth it. However, something that does take away many points is the number of American guests who come to eat there, and they are extremely noisy. It's understandable that this is an area with many tourists or people who live here who are Americans, but it's truly bordering on disrespectful, as their conversations can be heard at four other tables around, which is extremely uncomfortable.nOther than that, I highly recommend it.

There was no host when I arrived. Plenty of staff inside standing around, someone should have covered for the host. I waited for a while then left.

Terrible food poisoning. Appears to be a more common occurrence at this restaurant than normal. Likely was the ceviche. Very unfortunate outcome, management should review its cleaning process. Until then, avoid.
