The design and appearance are the first things that stand out. Everywhere you look, you can tell there was a lot of thought behind it. It's a relatively expensive place, though.nnThe servers are very friendly and efficient. The food is definitely delicious. I recommend the chilaquiles and the breads; we tried the concha and a lemon ricotta roll. I wouldn't recommend the country bread and roast beef sandwich at all.

We tried their lunch menu and it was good. Compare to their prices I won’t give them 5 start but definitely a 4 star. The food tasted good, not much special. Their bread is the same as their pizza crust and it is the best part of their food. The service was okay, we just had to wait way longer than they told us.nOverall, it was a good experience.

Lardo is definitely my favorite place in the city. It's a guarantee of flavor, delicious food, and the feeling of a cozy place. I've tried almost the entire menu and I love it all, but without a doubt the hummus is the best in the city, as is the beet salad. The pizza is incredible, as are the desserts.nI also loved their matcha.
