Best food in Antigua!!nDo yourself a favor and stop here for dinner. It’s tiny so you might have to wait for a table - but trust me, it’s sooooooo worthy.nI sat at the bar and was hypnotized watching the chef work all six fires with outstanding skills, while at the same time checking in on me asking if the level of heat of my dish was fine (I got the spicy one). Five stars!! Get the cobanero shrimp, you’ll thank me later

AN ABSOLUTE MUST!nI got lucky and walked right in on a Sunday night but def make a rez if you’re planning to come here. The place fits maybe like 15 people but honestly, that adds so much to the charm and the vibes. It’s an “if you know, you know” type of place and WOW the food was insane! I had the chicken burrito and I swear I could’ve eaten one every night I was in Antigua. I went on my birthday and the girls working there sang me happy birthday as soon as I said something. So sweet! The two guys working the kitchen were a big vibe too, if you’re a solo traveler, sit at the bar and talk to the boys; they were so kind and so sweet to talk to! An EXCEPTIONAL, hidden place to eat at! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Anyone who hasn't been here has missed out. The food is an explosion of flavor on my tongue. Upstairs, there are six small tables that feel very cozy and warm with the inscribed walls, rustic look, and the jazz playing. Perfect for lingering. The walls haven't been painted in 13 years, and everyone is welcome to leave their own little inscription somewhere. In the bar area, you're almost in the kitchen and can watch your food being prepared. While I was waiting, I had a really nice chat with the manager and the chef.nnA must when visiting Antigua. It fills up quickly. From the times I've been here, I can say that you should be able to get a table without having to wait until 6:30 p.m. and from 9:00 p.m. onwards. The only way to get to the top is via a fairly steep staircase. For support, there's a rope with knots to pull you along. The sangria is super fruity and delicious.
